Contact and Corrections

Flying Doctor Journal welcomes editorial correction requests. To help the editors find and verify the item, include the article identifier. Each article has a slug, a title, and a cote label from one of the three rubriques: HI for History, LO for Logistics, and PO for Policy. State the slug and the cote label, and quote the sentence or passage at issue. Then describe the problem in plain terms. Say whether the issue is a factual error, a missing attribution, an outdated figure, or unclear wording. Include the evidence that supports the change. Useful evidence includes a public record, a named publication, a dated document, or a dataset with a stable link. If the evidence is contested, note the disagreement and cite both sides. Do not send personal medical details. This is an editorial channel, not a clinical service, and it cannot provide medical advice, referrals, or emergency help. For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services. The journal does not publish a phone number or a postal address and does not accept requests through a web form. Corrections are handled on the merits of the evidence. When a correction is made, the article is updated and the change is noted. When a claim cannot be verified, the editors may soften, qualify, or remove it. This page explains the correction route only.
